My searching on the web sugget that floats need to be 70-80% of fuse length,
that makes then 50-56" long for the GSS.

The twin giant SS is still flying, it flew right off the drawing board.
The only change was to fit a much stronger nose leg.
Performance on one 90fs is marginal at best. :D

Well, most of it is a kit. Start with a Giant Super Sportster, strip off all the covering (easy), cut open the bottom wing sheeting and fit new landing gear ply ribs, plates and mounts for nacelle...

The Giant Twin Sportster is alive and well on the way.
Set up for a pair of 91 FS (but design allows it to be upgraded to 120 FS if needed) and tricycle gear.
Should be flying in 2-3 weeks.
