I tried one of these, wasn't too impressed, it had less range than my 500mw falsweb using various antennas

Hey thanks!. it will just fit inside the fuse. Have you checked the current draw on the xmitter? I am guessing 1.3-1.5A if it is really a 2watt xmitter.

Jett pilot: not to sidetrack this thread, but your reciever antenna caught my eye, is it a custom job? and if so, any chance we could get the dims to duplicate it?

Anyone who has one of these...

bruce: You mentioned a 700yd walk with good results, did you see any of the dropouts that are common with most 2.4ghz stuff? I would think that ground range would be much less than air range, due...
