RU4J - I did not shim the motor, i had previously adjusted it in its mount.
It was just a bad set of circumstances and not enough Alititude and momentum.

I have read a few recent posts that are describing landing this bird. I love the way this plane lands. I can get real nice and soft nose high landings about 80% of the time.

Thanks for the info - i found about -3.5 degrees down seems to be the the consensus.

The neat thing about this plane is that the clamp mount on the motor means all I had to was remove the prop,...
