Definitely too high of a voltage.  I ran a 10.5T ballistic motor on 4s for about two packs once and that was it.  I can't imaging running that high of a kv motor  on 6s.

Which parts of the drivetrain are moving when you give it throttle?  Clutch bell, spur gear, driveshafts?  That will say a lot.  Do you mean the truck is locked as in it doesn't freewheel when its...

I bashed my MT2's silly and didn't have a problem.  If you aren't racing, you are bashing.  There is no third description (shelfing?)

We crawl indoors, do a little electric outdoors and don't touch nitro in the winter.  I should have stayed in North Carolina......

I don't think you're a dink.

The trim is a bandaid for quick adjustments but its always good to have things set properly and not rely on it.

I had an engine with the gap just a bit too small...

Local club racing likely has a stadium truck class of some sort you can race in. I was referring to classes in the highest level of racing like ROAR and IFMAR.

Why not have a savage and the MT2? I run road rage tires on the street, they are pretty cool tires with great lateral traction.
