I had two Falcon 120's, both with K80's, so a rocket ship! With your jet, just program flaperons in your TX and they will work as well as sperate flaps and ailerons.

I started out with a P60 and mine was very nose heavy. It needed 2lbs of lead in the booms to balance. I now have a K80F@19lbs thrust and it balances perfectly without the lead. Also, everything is...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Guys, I was clearing files from my laptop and found this excellent PDF on a highly modified Falcon. I hope the original poster doesn't mind me posting it again as it has lot's of good imfo for new...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Guys, I was just in my workshop preparing my jets for a big local jet fly at the end of this month, and noticed that my single elevator servo on my Falcon was moving alot slower going up than down. I...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Mine is 13.5 lbs dry and still going great after about 50-60 flights. With the little PST600, I had to put some lead in the tail booms to get it to balace properly.:D

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

FMRR, just wondering if you got your undercarriage? I noticed this ad in RC Trader and it appears that he is using a set for his Falcon that you have ordered. Looking at his photos, I reckon that the...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Link works perfectly. Make sure you have pop-up blocker disabled. Nice flight, and as I worked up in Darwin many years ago, it looks like old "hector", building up in the background. Also, try and...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

It's a company called "Lado Technologies". I don't know much about them, but it looks like quality gear.

OOPPS'S, I should have done a bit more research before assuming that it is an Australian...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Hi, I am using the Trim Aircraft set which are very high quality. The included proportional brake valve is the best one that I have seen, and the total set was about $230. I will be very interested...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Dr Honda, that landing gear mod is a excellent idea, especially off grass runways. I would imagine that it would make very little difference to the top speed? I'm still a big fan of retracts on my...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

John, my Falcon seems identical to your's. I have flown it with my P60 and my PST600, and always use 60 degrees flap for landing. Mine weights 13lbs dry and now has over 60 flights, and like your's,...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

C of G should be 13inches BACK from root leading edge. IE- where the very front of wing, butts up against fuselarge. Check c of g with a empty main fuel tank. Also make sure that you have a slight...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Matt, knew you would like the Falcon. We had 5 Falcon's at our recent jet meet and all flew perfectly, and mine is now nearly 2 years old with about 60 odd flights, so I guess far more reliable than...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

I use 5 degrees down thrust, front of turbine pointing up. No torque from a turbine, so align dead straight with the longitudinal axis. I laid a arrow shaft taped to engine to get it dead straight.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Nice video! Regarding flaps, I use Flap15 for takeoff, Flap40 for landing, and mine flies almost identical to Todd's. Landing speed is slower than most trainers! Looks like he's using wire U/C, but I...

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Yes, I understand about travel costs from Perth. Giggo normally makes it over with his Falcon, but with so many events now in Australia, one has to get very picky with which ones to attend.
