Both Monocote and Ultracote are stored in the same basement. Only the Ultracote delaminates, and usually in about 8 years.

I have some models built in the mid-90's that were covered in Monocote that are in great condition. As long as they are stored away from uv light, I believe long-term storage is not a problem....
