Yes, I had to pretty much fly mine at full throttle with all the training aids on it to keep it from tip stalling also. and the landings just get faster the more training aids you remove

yes, I used 2 AA Ni-Cd batties wired in paralell and soldered a charge jack into the circuit and mounted it on the fuselage. the negative comes off the charge jack and goes to the battery minus and...

sure, it's just a little microswitch from the radio shack parts bins and a rechargable battery and a charge jack and the little connector for the glowplug. here is a picture of the microswitch.

Yes the landings are faster, I have to fly it down to the runway and make it stick there. but if you weigh the origional motor and your four stroke you may find that they are not that much different,...

Yes there is a wood block up inside the wing that is either broken or has come off, the rod for the landing gear would normally go into a hole on that block.

I looked at the stock EVO engine that came with mine and it does move back and forth but nowhere near 1/4" I would say it moves less than 1/8".

buzzing now and then while moving is probably ok what you don't want is to have a servo trying to move against a mechanical stop, for example wide open throttle or flap up/dn.

I don't know, if it was dead it could be a failed pack, or if a servo was bad or working against it's mechanical stop. that would also drain a battery in a matter of minutes. I had a similar...

cyon, sorry about your mustang. I use a Venom power battery monitor installed in the aircraft, just turn it on and move a buch of servos and the lights will tell you everything.

G-Pete, Those retracts look alot better than mine do, mine have been ripped out twice so they aren't so pretty anymore, but thats ok it's a used wing that I bought from a friend of mine and fixed it...

Quantum leap,

JR Radios have the kill engine button, it will only work when your throttle stick is at Zero and you have at least 1 click of positive trim on the throttle, I think it's like that...

I think I found the problem with the radio, there was a bad Y harness in it, I can wiggle the wires at the solder connection and get the FM receiver to go haywire, with the PCM receiver I do the same...
