hey john,

here a better pic of the attachment. I also put a Sig taiwheel on a pull pull setup since I didn't think the facory POS wpuld hold up on our bumpy field.

Hey John,

I didn't use the mounts for the bungee struts, but put a piece of 4/40 drill rod thruogh the pivot hole and used a landing gear strap on each side to hold the drill rod to the floor...

Hi John,

Well I couldn'd stand how good your plane looked, so I had to copy you....BUT, I changed the geometry to match the scale plane a little closer. Used 4-40 drill rod and 2 landing gear...

Why did you use 1/4 scale instead of 1/5 for the gear? Regardless, it looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well..got to finally maiden the Pawnee yesterday. using a power 60 and
6s..propped with a 14X9X3. pulls right at 800 watts so almost perfect scale power. OMG what a blast to fly and by gosh it...

it's a GI joe pilot figure. Got it off ebay for around $25.oo with shipping. Here is one like it but unfortunately more expensive, but I was just finding an example and not looking for a bargain.

well it's getting close to seeding and fertilizing here.. Pilot reported to the airfield today.
