That's what I was thinking. However, it's a big improvement over a simple sleeve but you need a specially polished cylinder for a leak proof seal, not to mention losing 1K off the top end.

Cox engines do suffer with poor throttling...

Cox engines do suffer with poor throttling because of SPI at the exhaust and at the intake. But only Cox.

VAs, Norvels, Brodaks are not bothered by SPI.
