Gentle Lady's are quite tough airplanes. The wrinkles in the top covering when it goes up on a high start are alarming, but I yet to break a GL wing.

On some of my power planes, the time for MonoKote to get brittle and crack is very short! :)
The hinge covering on my GL vertical is probably 10 years old, and still going.
The horizontal needed...

Tape or MonoKote works better. Easy to apply and repair, and seals the whole gap.
