ok thanks but i already have a 16t so ill use thatto see where im at then go higher or lower

And i mind as well buy a 19t pinion while im buying the motor online..

And with gearing you should start with a 15t pinion, but what should the spur be???

This is a really sick car to get but it is definity worth it getting the rustler VXL for an other $100...it goes about 20mph faster....the motor doesnt overheat as much

But be careful if you do...

oh and i forgot to add...that there is other turns like a 10, 12, 14 and 17....why r they all the same price...would a 12 or 14 work with my xl-5 esc

hey,
ok i have found a motor from my local hobby dealer..GT 550 14.4v Motor...is this better then my titan and does the 14.4v mean 14t???? i think i can go up to a 12t with the xl-5 speed control....

Hey,
I just got a Rustler xl-5 for xmas
Im looking to increase the speed of it cheap....any ways other then bearings, humps and using wd 40??????
I have 2 venom 8.4v 3000mah and a Tenergy 9.6v...
