I just swapped my Saito 182 twin glow for the DLE...

I just swapped my Saito 182 twin glow for the DLE 40 twin gas....fits nicely in the cowl. Plenty of power. I hope to do the remainder tonight!!!

The engine to go with is the Saito 182 twin.....plenty of power and the sound is perfect for this plane. The Saito FG-21 is a horrible engine. The Saito carb just doesn't work, ever wonder why Saito...

I'm working on fixing everything right now. Have my cub tires ordered, will be here later this week. Bungee cover should be able to be fixed, looks like screws pulled thru fiberglass, will reinforce...

Ok, did my maiden today. Saito 182 twin for power. It took off in about 40 feet at 1/2 throttle. Just a few clicks of trim and it was perfect. Flies really nice, just like a cub and looks great........

There was a hole in the tank...tank came from my spare box and I didn't notice it. Put in new 16oz tank and it runs perfectly. Needed to use dremel to open hole in dash a little, I zip tied all hose...

Ok, so I fired mine up today. Too windy here in Mass. to fly this weekend. I have the Saito 182 twin, I had some trouble at 1st with a leaking Hayes fuel tank. Changed tanks and it fired right up....
