RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Wheelnut,
I am glad to see that at least one person on this forum agrees with me. The ironic thng is that I have a T-28 that is about 6 months old and have never had a problem with it. It has...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Welcome to the unreliable Parkzone SU-26. I purchased my first one on December 9th and never got a flight in, well unless you consider ten seconds at five foot altitude a flight, due to servo...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

The example that I gave did not have any "real" numbers for this motor or any particular prop. It was only meant to point out that before you size the battery you should find the optimum motor and...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

In order to optimize the performance (speed and climb capability) of an aircraft, it is necessary to reach the peak power point for the motor. The peak power point is not equal to the maximum...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Where did you get your electrical engineering degree? Was it at Kmart or Walmart? Yes, you are just guessing.

OK, lets consider the real physics here. If this motor could pull 3 amps with a 1S...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Batteries in parallel are only going to buy you more flight time, not more power. Because the motor resistance is constant, the only way to significantly improve power is to increase the voltage. V...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Fern,

You actually misunderstood my point about about programming the TX. I have a DX7 and have no problem programming it for all of my aircraft. I was not trying to state the I should not...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

So, as I understand these recent comments, the 2 defective aircraft that I have recieved are simply due to my poor piloting skills.

I suppose that if I purchase a new hybrid car from GM, Ford or...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

It is pretty obvious to me that there is a quality control issue with these planes. I had 2 aircraft that exhibited problems with servos and so have others. And what about all the CG issues that...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I measured all the throws and they were within spec before I ever flew. Also, when I took off the canopy and duplicated the problem with the aileron. the linear servo WAS NOT at the mechanical...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

It has been a few weeks since I have been on this forum, but Horizon did send me a new replacement SU-26 just before Xmas. I flew it with the standard prop and a 150mAh battery. It did much better...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Sorry, but it is 200%. 150mAh X 12 C is 1800mAh. 110mAh X 8 C is 880 mAh. It is NOT 150/110!

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I over nighted my SU-26 back to Horizon and they told me they would turn it around quickly for me, ahead of the post Xmas rush. In the mean time I ordered some P-51M props and some of the new EFLITE...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I requested an RMA number from Horizon, but in the mean time I did check the CG and it is a bit nose heavy, as has been reported by many on this thread. But I am not going to waste my time balancing...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Well I just got one of these and am very disappointed. In just one day it reminds me of my EFLITE F-16 ducted fan experience. I tried three flights, 2 ROG and 1 hand launch. The SU-26 would not...
