welcome, here is what I think. I think they are thinking that if you have to modify the firewall to install the engine, you are on your own and they will not be held liable for damage...

Steve, you are looking at wing loading in sq in. but since the plane has a semi semmetrical wing, it should be considered in cube loading. That will help to understand it's float as well as...
