Well, I can tell you that all of the wood parts in the Blue Jay kits are excellent and require very little sanding or cutting. Of course, there is a bit of forming, but nothing too...

I'm just finishing up an Utter Chaos 40 from Blue Jay. The wood is simply excellent. No problems with the quality at all.

If you have any building experience at all you should have no issues...
