Okay, this is what I was really getting at. I thought that if you left the foam in that you could make a wing without spars. Why do you need a bed if you are vacuum bagging the wing?

This is what I was planning on doing. Ummm, I'm not sure what we have besides fiberglass and carbon fiber, but the fiberglass is the cheapest.

Okay, I was confused. I was going to use a male mold and just leave the foam core in the wing. I know I can build an accurate inner foam core because I can input airfoil coordinates into SolidWorks...

I was thinking about leaving some or all of the foam in if I CNC the wing. Is that a terrible idea?

I don't know about the bagging method. Vacuum bagging I guess. Are there other kinds or various versions of vacuum bagging?

I suppose there might be some Ansys involved for structural analysis,...
