RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Good save!
My Evo. 46 has that same problem. I put a bunch of loc-tite on it, but will probably put on a lock nut just for security.

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

I pulled all the highlight covering off and left the big patches of purple on the wing and...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

fmulder - I had the same issue with one or two of the engine mount blind nuts, but I made mine work. Now I put a Super Tigre .51 in it and had to re-do the blind nuts.

Hopefully tomorrow I can...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Back to the Twist post... Been a while since I've been on here.
I was selling mine, but it didn't sell after 2 months, so I decided to keep it and make some upgrades.
Got a new Super Tigre 51...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

Are you guys re-enforcing the fuse under the canopy, you know, the weak spot?
I got luck last week, and now I think I'm going to epoxy in some carbon fiber strips, mainly for a little reassurance. ...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

I had to add 8 oz. to get mine to about 4.5" cg. Right now I've got an OS 46 LA with a 12.25 x 3.75. It does o.k. but I just ordered a K&B .48 for it, and plan to move the battery in with the tank...

I was just playing around with it trying to figure it out, and it submitted my suggestion for the Twist.
Might make for an interesting plane...

Couple of questions.

Wing hold down bolt doesn't get tight, as I screw it in, it...
