Something tells me it will as soon as the next generation of chainsaws/weedies are worked upon, look at the innovatve combustion chamber on the Stihl, or better yet an untapped avenue of fuel...

I think its an achievement in American ingenuity, do we have to be enslaved to buy an already made engine, thats identical to hundreds of others? Is it so wrong to challenge those that are...

Thanks for the info, I was tempted to make an offer at EBAY for a couple of those concrete saws, guess better to find the chainsaws instead. I would like the lightest better made engine anyway,...

I have been doing a ton of searching the web on STIHLs, found out a few things I didn't know, they are made in Germany, and you cannot buy a new Stihl over the web unless its Ebay, some Stihl corp....

My bad, the aircraft in question is a Byron kit Ryan ST-A, 90"ws 66"long, about 18lbs.
I at first was going to put a Ryobi 31cc in it but now it appears the 46cc Poula is better and cheaper, OTOH ...

Another poster commented that the engine in my McCulloch Promac 610 chainsaw is a 60cc, is that definate? Shall I rip it apart for a conversion? I need an engine for 1/4 scale warbirds.

Looks nice even to a newbie like me, makes me wonder if a Promac 60cc is a good candidate, bought it cheap years ago, now I'm back into R/C, building a 1/4 scale Ryan STA but looking at the 30% ARFs.
