Ihave one of these, planning on getting another and running it in parallel. So far Ilike the zippy's better though. Both seem to fit just fine, and the venoms are actually easy to slide in.

put it in training mode for him, also put on the speed pinion (it's actually slower, designed to keep the motor from overheating when you use dual batteries)

I'm not sure this is a great truck for...

It was the rear diff, the outer gear (everything that is sealed inside was fine)

Bought the diff gear and input gear for $10 and am going to see if I can get a spare out of traxxas' warranty...

I think my rear diff is clicking.  I took the whole back end apart and it looks OK, but it might be possible that the input gear isn't connecting to the diff gear well.  Does that make sense?

Well, you'd need an external cutoff for that, the ESCis only designed to cutoff up to 3S.

I'm planning on running 2s2p since I get the most mAh that way. Imight pick up a single 3S for speed.

I broke an upper front suspension arm today (left side when front is facing you) - LHS has it in stock, but I missed their closing time by 1 minute. GRR :(  Guess I'll have to get it tomorrow.
