This lunch box forum is really friendly.

I thought the 20 turn motor would be faster than the stock one. I figured the stocker was a 27 turn?

I did all that before, but just did it again and there was some backlash in the gears. This was with same photon motor and gear and adapter still installed. Anyways it works perfect with 10 tooth...

It's noisy and the current doubles when the bolts are tightened. I'll try remounting, maybe I have the gear too far away from the motor. I may try the stock motor also just to see.

I used a 20 turn photon motor (540) and the stock 10 tooth gear along with the stock plastic off-set adapter. I think the motor hit the trans, maybe it's larger than a closed end bell motor.

I might just do that and "motor faster" instead of gearing up. It must be rediculously slow with stock pinion. Have you had issue of the motor hitting trans and causing the gear mesh to be forced...

Thanks, That will work I think.

I actually think a stock adapter from clod will allow me to use a 13 tooth. My 18 tooth is from the super hornet.
