Got an issue now that it's finally arrived - the square ended ferrule sits a good 2" recessed into the stinger!

THANK YOU!!!!!!  That is precisely what I was looking for -  a drive shaft that would hold the drive dog and have a square ended opening!!  :D

I wanted to avoid using that type of strut as it just doesnt look as clean as a stinger - with that in mind is it possible to use a square drive with a stinger strut that looks like this? ...

here's where Im a bit lost though - If I use a square drive with the stock clutch I can not use a stinger right? Or do they make stub shafts that can be directly soldered onto the square endedshaft...

I have a long shaft Ryobi that Im converting for use in an EasyVee from zip kits. The threads are 3/8-24 on the output shaft of the engine and stop 3/4" from the end of the shaft. Will any collet...
