Absolutley normal! The UF does fly with a nose down attitude. On a P120SX I have the timer set 8 1/2 mins and there is alwasy plenty left for a go around. Timer starts gear up to gear down....

Sounds like the Intairco legs, no problems as long as they rotate when retracted and don't foul on the wheel well.

That's correct. I have a washer between the leg and retract unit to give the clearance required.
The Jet -1a legs do have the spring in the middle but I think CARF supply Intairco legs, but...
