RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

BJM,

Can you give us some detail about your configuration? Stock motor, ESC? Are your A123 2300mAh? Can you post pics of how your batteries fit and your parallel connection? I see the fellow who...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I doubt he uses A123 4S4P. That configuration would be 16 cells (4S1P=4 cells, 4S2P=8 cells, 4S3P=12cells, and 4S4P=16 cells). No way 16 a123 cells fit the SV-27. I will use A123 2300mAh 2 sets of...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

I use Spektrum DX7 with the older AR6000 Receiver. The AR6000 has two antennas and they recommend you keep them in the same 90 degree as exiting the Rx cover. I have never had a range or glitch issue...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Get the FMA celllpro 4S or 10S charger. The 10S can charge two Lipos simultaneously if used in series such as in the SV-27. Balancer is not needed because each cell is charged separately and...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Wow 5 posts from Cruz. Welcome aboard. I never had good luck with Tenergy batteries as the end bar was too thin and melted. Where did you get the info about 43mph record:eek:?

Sorry, we should have mention the Garmins we are using are the Forerunners and not the Gekos. I did not know Garmin had multiple names for the same model number.

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

You can get the Garmin 201 refurbished on ebay or Amazon shipped conus for about $80.00-$100.00. The 201 uses a lipo battery so it doesn't lose it's charge due to non use.;)

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Well, I accidently connected two 4s Emoli Lipo in series instead of parallel and the 28+ volts cooked the Esc but no damage to the motor so I think voltage does matter. Think voltage-power and...

RE: Super Tune Your Super Vee 27

Tks Sting,

I wonder why Hobbico would tell me something different if the ESC is the same. The Aquacraft version has been waterproofed and is $10.00 cheaper.
