My 63 inch "new" Predator B UAV has a short hollow alloy wing tube 192mm long od is 6.08mm id is 3.7 mm

Just looking over my new Predator. The wing joiner tube is hollow alloy . Most people seem to refer to glass fibre tube so is the alloy one inferior?
