Buddy flew his today for the first time.. Stock set up and stock throws. Every thing worked great with NO issues!
He has a DLE 55 rear exhaust for power and its plenty.

But if you think about it it does make sense.
Those 50 cals are air cooled guns with holes in the barrels. ...

I'm going with Republic.. they designed the plane...

I'm going with Republic.. they designed the plane and put in the blast tubes lol.
I'm guessing the Engineers had a significant reason for doing so..

You have all the hot gasses from the 50 Cals inside the wing.. along with all the ammunition; wing tubes.

The guns go inside the blast tubes. You don't actually see the guns :)

What Exhaust are you speaking of? The Engine Exhaust is up front. The Super charger exhaust is in the rear.

The only reason 4 bladed props were used in the full scale planes was to harness the power of the big engines on them.
Most early planes had 2 bladed props... even the early spits.
