I built a VECO Smoothie in the early 60s. I plan to re-create the color scheme on the enlarged RC version.

Minwax has Polyurethane, which is oil based and fuel resistant. It has Polycrylic which is water based, and isn't.

That'a a G-38 under the hood. It has magneto ignition. A rear carb, rear exhaust, engine would be an easier to mount choice.

A roll is 27.5" wide.

Solartex is fuel proof, but don't let that fool you into thinking that it doesn't need to be sealed. The covering gets dirty easily. Sealing it makes it easy to clean.
