RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

My G26 seems to have almost the same power as my G38s. That may be the logic.

My Extreme Aircraft Cap is nearly the same size as your. When it's Moki 2.10 is needed for my Focke Wulf, I plan to...

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

The crock pot/antfreeze process works well. I've done that in the past.

I started the breakin process on my Moki 2.10, for the Extreme Aircraft Cap. I ran it for 5 minutes at a time, letting it...

I don't plan on putting in extreme control throws on mine. It is my hope that this will minimize the snapping problem.

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

Glad that you found your muffler.

I'm being held up by $$$, too. Last week, I figured out that I needed to purchase a servo reversing Y Harness. It made elevator servo connection a lot easier....

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

No, I don't have digital servos. I've just barely joined the Digital Age by having a computer and camera.

I mounted the aileron servos this morning. The Cap assembly is moving quickly !

I forgot to answer your question about batteries. I plan on using a single 4.8 1800ma pack, run through an MPI switch.

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

I think a G38 would be fine. I plan on pulling the Moki after this season. I bought it to go into one of my scale projects I'll replace it with a US 41 gasser.

I'll get some updated pics later...

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

Thanks rccub

I'm breaking new ground with my Cap. All my other models are scale ships. I hope that I'm not in over my head.

Mine will have FMA 80 oz servos in the wings, a 132 oz Futaba on...

My Extreme Aircraft Cap is coming along well. It seems to be a well constructed airframe. The fiberglass wheel pants and cowl are very well made. The color match on the painted parts,...

Looks great, ludo 100 !!!

My shipment from RC Superstore just arrive. The contents are in fine shape. Everything looks like it's there. It's had to tell, however. I found no parts list.

The...

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

Thanks, Metal gears is what I'll purchase.

The local Hobby Shop owner recommended the Karbonite gears, but we're both Scale builders, and don't know. I'm breaking new ground (for me), and the...

I've read that Karbonite gears don't hold up, for these applications, and to use servos with metal gears. Have you had any problems? I'm going to order servos for my Cap, this week. Any...

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

Most of my models are gas powered. I think you will like it's convenience. If you can operate a chainsaw or weed wacker, you should have very few prroblems.

RE: 1/4 SCALE CAP 232 FORUM

I have a G26. It ran well straight from the box. You will need to wire in a kill switch.

Besides changing the fuel lines, you'll need to change the stopper in the tank.

You're probably...
