I also had all the fittings on one piece of paper and found that laser cutting was much more expensive than I thought. I startet the same process on Sunday...

that is exactly right, the Robart landing gear is made from 4130 alloy "aircraft steel" and it is welded, not brazed. I checked the possibilities for welding stainless steel instead...
