Or at least with suspension. An actuator would be easily installed instead of lead in the nose!!!

Good thinking Lionel- elevons at take off would limit the cushining of ground effect (or water effect).

Has anyone replaced the slab surfaces with airfoil shaped? I did that with the upper vertical fin and wondered if it would be one way to build a lighter and stronger horizontal assembly.

A .55ax might make all the problems go away! What weight is the plane, 8lbs is on heavy ish side. Is the step sharp? Are te rear edges of floats sharp? What 3 blade are you using? The ns is awesome...

So did mounting the tank on CoG reduce weight needed in the nose? Also what do you think about making the nose longer for leverage if any weight is needed? Anything to go wrong with that idea?!
