The Chinese rings tend to be hard and take a good while to break in, but many, many people are using the DLE engines with the stock rings without problems. You could always use the engines you have...

With really high, like over 50% expo, it seems like when you reach a certain movement on the stick, you all of a sudden have a lot more control movement and response. That can make some maneuvers...

Those high rates are 3d rates. I think I have my high rate elevator set at about 1.5" with 40% expo.

I am not sure I understand..... I have had Frank make me rings before with nothing more than an accurate i.d., o.d., and thickness of the ring. (And description of the type of anti rotating pin.) ...

I've been using Frank's rings in all my engines for several years now. They flat work and work well. It is now a normal step in the conversion of any engine I do to install one of Frank's rings.
