RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

What Tower Hobbies has are the old Goodrich logos. If you go to Patty's website you will see that she has many new logos on the plane. She now has sponsorship on the wings.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Can someone tell me how to set up the vent line on the fuel tank of a gas engine? I am trying to figure out how to run it so that the gas does not run out inverted or in a dive.
Thanks

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Basin: I would use the 635's on the elevators. They are supposed to be a little bit more heavy duty than the 605's, since the 635's have the karbonite gears verses the nylon gears. Better to strip a...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

A while back there was a web site listed that had some good specials on Hitec servos. I have been looking for that for about an hour now and can not find it. I think that my wife deleted it from my...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

If this rumor is true it may be the quality issue that Great Planes is having with this airplane. They have been replacing so many parts for people that the airplane may not be profitable for them to...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I'm glad that someone out there had enough good parts in there box that they could build the airplane that fast. I had to wait for so many replacement parts that I got a little burned out arguing...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I found Bridget at Hobbylobby and she does not look too bad. I will go with that if it is the only option that I have. If anyone has any more suggestions please let me know.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I think that how soon you get your parts is a matter of how upset you get with Great Planes on the phone and who takes your phone call. When I got my ailerons and canopy you could tell that they had...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

On 3/3/04 I had to call Great Planes about my ailerons being warped. I also let them know about the scratches that I had on my canopy. They agreed to replace both items at no charge. I received both...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Is it normal to have so many problems with this airplane? I first had one that had the cardboard wing tube(we all know the problem there). That kit was completely exchanged. The new kit had a stab...

On my 3W-48B2 everything stays nicely under the cowling. The only thing that sticks out is the dual exhaust.

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

Thanks for the tip about the CA glue. I had no idea that could happen. What is RC56 though. I have never heard of it. This is the first large model that I have put together. The Edge 540 that I have...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying

I'm going to use nylon bolts cut off and threaded into the wing with a touch of CA glue to keep them in place and then use nylon wing nuts to secure everything. This way I still have the security of...

RE: GP Patty Wagstaff - Building & Flying
