Yes, I did leave the plates in place and put the packs vertically right up to the back of the firewall.

Not a problem at all. I the set up works great!! I was out flying it this past weekend. Its a graet flying plane!!

Hi Dean,

I have about 80 flights on my FW and I use about half flaps for take off and full for landing. I have my travel on the flaps as much as I can get and I have no bad habbits at all.

I have had no issues with the Hatch set up. I use it every flight to get the batteries in and out as I have converted mine to Electric.

Hi Mike,

It is the spinner that comes with the FW-190, I just painted the white spiral on it.
