This worked for me,mounting the engine to ply and using standoffs between the firewall and the ply.The front of my tank is 230mm behind the carb and it works fine.

Hey Reverend. I had the same issue with my EVO 777 I got in Nov 2011. Intake valves not closing. Like you I adjusted the valves and the engine fired right up.After running for a summer have no issues...

My ESM 85 in. Corsair weighs 31 lbs. The 777 flys it no problem. Even takes off on six cylinders which I dont recommend and will only do once.: Pete

If you want a little right thrust you will need about a 1/4 in. more clearance on the left side to center the prop.Pete

I buy my methanol at Home Depot in the paint department.Methyl hydrate is methanol.Was running it with 7% Cool Power synthetic 0% nitro but recently cut 1 liter of 15% nitro 18% oil with 1.57 liters...

Hi guys.On the Horizon site they advertise the Evo 777 with an improved carb with a split opening.Is there a new carb for the 777?Nice Corsair Steve.I bet the camera man keeps you on your toes.
