I would agree with Lifer, mine is a few years old...

I would agree with Lifer, mine is a few years old now and has a DLE 35 on it. I would either solder or Z-bend those ends and get rid if the EZ connectors. Just my 2 cents.

Well, maybe. I think you could brace it up enough that the firewall would hold. The thing that makes me reconsider is the landing gear, they are kind of weak. The plane is pretty stout otherwise.

I am re-thinking my decision on the Zenoah G-38. I think it is just too big for this airframe. A 55cc would be a rocket if the airframe would take it.
I think I am going to a DLE 30.

I found that the bouncing on landing is caused by landing too slow. Keep your speed up a little and "wheel" land the Gee Bee. This plane lands like my GS P-40 which will do the same thing if I get it...

There is lots of room inside the fuse, so knowing that you will be looking at a possible nose heavy situation, you can move the servo tray aft, or possibly tail mount the servos. I think there was...

I have a couple dozen flights on mine. Just make sure to loc-tite and flat spot all the set screws in the struts, even the anti-rotation screws. The design seems to have changed a couple times over...

Got all the screws put into the wing fillets. What a difference it makes in the looks of the plane. I find myself looking at them while flying the plane :D
It also helped pull the fillet tighter on...

It had rained quite a bit before we got there, but everything was dry while we were there. First flight on my Z, I looked down the runway and someone was starting a giant R-2 with a DA 170 in it....

I cut mine out the best I could, put some RC56 canopy glue on the wing saddle only and bolted the wing on with the fairings in place. This way I could...
