I remember mine being right on the tube and it was a tad nose heavy . No other trim was needed other than a couple of clicks up on elevator.

I am curious about your CG as well.

The aileron horn was installed properly. It was not into the hard point. Only soft balsa[&:][&:][&:]

I nought it this way and trusted the installation , not checking to see if it was into the...

my kmp yak is repaired from the crash...installing motor and servo...tank now on CG .

A LITTLE BEAT UP....but it will fly..got th ewing tube fron Andrew at KMP.

Thanks I have emailed a bunch of places now. I have a 25mm tube 920mm long. The 1" is too big.

That is about all I need to buy for this, other than different aileron hardware. :eek:

The aileron horn points in the ailerons came apart, busted, worked free, from the ailerons and the resulting flutter at 20mph was enough to snap the nylon wing bolts and let the left wing panel...

Maiden Report.


CG slightly nose heavy. Flew Great , easy landing , needed a noticable amount of up elevator to trim. Flew neutral, high alpha KE great. Vertical.

I did the stabilizers Friday Night, I cut the 9/16 back and angled it to the end of the original cut.

I used Gorilla glues and a piece of the original...

I am very close to getting mine in the air. But, I am upset that the stabilizers are cut in such a way that the travel limits are severely reduced, compared to the EF Yak.

I just cut down my motor box 40mm like Pauldo. My Q52 is the exact same dimension as a G-62, I have both. The prop back will be about 3/4 to 1 inch out from the cowl round edges. ...
