I would choose the caged ones because they are factory rated to 140.000 rpm but all the others only up to 60.000 rpm i think.
The caged one works fine near the turbine disc so far, if AMT uses them...

Any iron (powder) toroid from 30mm up will do (in the 3 videos the toroid is 30mm OD), as you can see i use plain 2mm enameled copper wire...

Maybe a two layer coil will work better....

I was suspending the fuel manifold with a third hand the one with crocodiles but i didn't crossed my mind to use a metal base, i will try it!

It was loosing heat too...

I just don't know the practical differences of say 1KW and 2 KW and this is what i am...
