Plug the holes. Find the center of the firewall. That is where the center of the prop shaft should be. Mount the engine on the mount with the shaft centered. Drill the four holes. Done.

Just moved the mounting holes. It is a slimline pitts muffler. I did add fiberglass to the inside of the firewall.

The Saito 100 will run great in any position. It looks better to have the opening on the bottom of the cowl than on the side. Use up elevator when you are on the landing roll out to hold the tail...

The tru-turn prop hub covers the holes on the Graupner three bladed prop.

That prop is way to small. You should be using a 14x7 three blade prop for a saito 100.

You need a 14x7 three bladed prop. I had a 13x8 and it was to small. The engine rpm was to much with that small of prop.

It is very easy to mount the saito 100 inverted in the corsair. Just plug the four existing holes and drill four new ones. Performence specialties has a bunch of mufflers that allow you to install...

Here are a couple pictures of my Hangar 9 corsair with century jet retracts, saito 100 with master airscrew three bladed prop and tru-turn spinner. It came out weighing eight pounds ten ounces....

It is the same corsair that giantscaleplanes sell. My opinion it is JUNK. I had one and sold it before I flew it because the quality of the kit was terrible.

There have been problems with all ARF'S. The Hangar 9 P-51 and AT-6 have had post where both of there firewalls have come loose. If there are so many problems with this corsair, I just haven't seen...
