You're probably not going to get that kind of performance out of an electric pusher setup with just a propeller. Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) would be the way to go for those speeds.

Has anyone out there converted the Bobcat 50 horizontal stab into a fully symmetrical airfoil? It really wouldn't be that difficult. It might help with some of the dynamic trim/balance problems...
