I hear you on the winter part. I think in your parts it will be a bit worse then here, but I have seen enough of rainy windy days with low temperatures. Brrrrrr. really jealous about these guys a bit...

update on above. Put in some more flights, motor and controller stay cool, must be allright.

Today I started building my own. Must say I am really positively surprised by the quality of the kit....

PappaJeff, if I understood it correctly it would be a 14x7 on a 3S pack, and 13x6.5 for a 4S pack. Anyway, we will both give a try....

Here is the one of my buddy, he will maiden probably this Sunday....

It is 1.5kg with 3s1p 3300mAh and Hacker A30-10XL with APC 13x6.5E. SHould be "adequately" powered.....

hey guys, I now report myself back into the net.....moved house, setup shop, unpacked my AJ, ready to go! I bought two AJs, sold the 2nd one to a flying buddy, he is now building his as well.

Picked up my motor and ESC today from the post office. So, finally got everything. Also checked out the plane a bit more. Looks very good!

Here we go: planes arrived! Only now motor and ESC is still in Customs.

It will be VERY hard to keep that box closed until I finished moving into my new house (half December)!
