RE: Funtana 90!

Flew mine today with a 100, cp 30% heli fuel, not broken in, menz 16x6. Mine weighes 8lbs 2oz and the 100 was plenty to pull out of a hover in a hurry with the above mentioned equipment.

RE: Funtana 90!

Have you guys seen the video of the one with a saito 100? looks plenty to me and will definitely be better on the CP 30% heli fuel. Just fly it.

RE: Funtana 90!

What convinces you that its 6" instead of 7 1/8"? I am just going to build mine and fly it, and then determine where the cg is.

RE: Funtana 90!

The CG is 7 1/8 behind the leading edge, which is about 2.6" behind the tube, and my 160z tank is 5.9" long, right on the CG. Hoping not to add any weight, but I like a very tail heavy fun fly plane.

RE: Funtana 90!

I am going to try this to get mine balanced. Saito 100, cline regulator, tru turn spinner, menz 16x6 prop. 2000 lithium (3.2 oz) on the back of the firewall, servos in tail hitec 5475x 3, hitec...

RE: Funtana 90!

the os 91s are hit and miss, some run great, some dont. Most require a different carb. The 2 stroke is heavier than the saito 100 I believe. For 3d you want torque, which means 4 stroke period. ...

RE: Funtana 90!

5 or 6 ounces is a lot of weight in my opinion on a plane that size. My guess also is with the ys, you "may" have to add tail weight to get it to 3d well, so thats some more weight to add. The only...

RE: Funtana 90!

I have asked graphtech, and they said they will have one in time, but they are trying to backfill their current orders now before making a mold for it. I saved weight by using a lite tru turn...

RE: Funtana 90!

RE: Funtana 90!

If a saito 100 is ample, a 110 should be a lot. 140 is too heavy IMO for this plane, go with the 110. I am using a saito 100 on mine, like the idea its 6-7oz lighter and I am at sea level, and plan...

RE: Funtana 90!

I am going to try a menz 16x6 on my 100, using 30% heli fuel. The menz is actually about 15 5/8" in diameter, so not actually 16, and a lot lighter than the apc wide blade, I hope this prop works...

RE: Funtana 90!

I wonder if hitec 5245s would fit? I know they are 76oz torque each, but only like 1.2 oz each, would be a way to shave a couple ounces by using them
