Perry,
They are a fiberglass set of louvers from Fiberglass Specialties. You have to open the lovers up, when they come they are all mold as one piece. Not too hard just time consuming.

All of the vinyl that we do is all computer cut, including the cowling checkers.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the Ailerons are tapered 4" to 7". With a smoke system installed it weighs in at 39.8 pounds.

There are a lot of lightning holes in it. But most are what the Carden builders are putting in them. Nothing drastically changed from the plans. The cowl will house a DA 150 on stock...

The Yak seems to fly a lot smoother than the Edge in IMAC maneuvers but is still as stable as the Edge in 3D. Sam, The Louvers are from Fiberglass Specialties. They are the 2.6m Comp ARF Yak...

Yes Edges are great. But after getting my hands on one of these Yak's recently I fell in love with it. You can just see that it fly's better than an Edge. Although I won't be getting rid...
