This last Sept at a warbird event I had the first flight perfect.
The second flight when I cut to idle on landing my DA 50 died....what the heck! Never did that before.

I guess I got lucky also by getting one of the first Robart 190 gears as I haven't had that problem with pins.
The wood mounts are better then TF P-51 mounts.
I never thought of running CF pins...

Thanks Mike....yes with any gyro a person has to help out a little on take offs and landing...which works for me.
I think the jet guys use heading hold on take offs...but they can't touch any thing...

Those flaps hanging down on final will kill a lesser servo I have found. Need servo torque.
