Once had a pattern plane called the "Velox" that went into a upright flat spin I intentional caused for practice. No matter what I tried it never recovered.

I felt the same way but remember this plane is not a trainer. Before anyone decides to blast me for this comment research the design behind the airframe and why it was built in the first place.
