RE: Funtana 90!

fiber-lite.com will make custom gear. I have gear from them for my Funtana 40 and it is outstanding gear. It may already be in the works. If enough of us want gear, I'm sure he will make it.

RE: Funtana 90!

evfast, I have an APC 16x4W. I started running this prop with the CP 30%. I was running the APC 15x6W. on my UCD. So far I like the 16x4W. Plenty of speed for a 3D plane and good torque.

RE: Funtana 90!

flyinrazrback,

Wow, 8lb 2oz.! What equipment do you have in it. Did your CG come out right. I have a 100 in mine and its 9lb. CG is 1in behind recommended. Doesn't fly very well that way....

RE: Funtana 90!

It looks like a pull-pull rudder is a must with a Saito 100.

For those of you using a pull-pull setup. How far from the rear of the fuselage did you exit the cable? How far up on the rudder...

RE: Funtana 90!

If one has already hinged the rudder, sealing the gap on both sides with ultracote may not hurt.

RE: Funtana 90!

evfast,

I posted a little while ago about there being enough balsa where the control horn goes into the rudder. My rudder is so light that I can see it breaking with little effort or snapping...

RE: Funtana 90!

I am just about done with my Funtana 90 and I am very concerned about the balsa where the control horn mounts to the rudder. It feels like a snap roll would break the rudder where the control horn...
