In Europe we mainly saw wirewound but the 12 bit can be a problem to combine.
And about testing is checl linearity of stick related to rotation degrees of servo!

Hy Andy,

Wouldn't it be better to use the cermet equivalent, 3852, for better linearity.
Of course you know we normally use wirewound, even better liearity.
12 bit and badest linearity did...

Gents,
You do know a L7805(CV) does need at least 7V (typical dropout voltage for 1A) or even 7,5 V (max) to work properly!
