I used some very thin wire from a set of pushrods from a small electric ARF I had. One is pulling and not pushing so you don't need very thick wire. Know what I mean by the rod...

flyn_colorado, Ya know I was having the same problem with the amount of movement to the wheel. I left the springs on for looks but stuck a wire though the springs into each hole to make it stiffer....

flyn_colorado, I got the package out of the trash so I could tell you what size it is. It says Small: 12 to 20 pounds. These look cooll, the full size Pawnees have what looks to be the same set up.

Johnny C, my pilot came out of a tank I have sitting here in my work area. I just had to cut the seat out so he sits right on the balsa floor. I left the sides to cover this up, and I cut his legs...

This one is a electric version. Running a way bigger motor than some say is nessesary but I like the low down the field then 90 degrees up to a wing over like the real ones do. Had to make the light...

Just a couple coffee breaks and this Pawnee is looking good. Seriously, wings are done, tail feathers are on with wires, landing gear, this far took about 2 hours I would guess? Everything fits...
