RE: DLE 30 Prop hub replacement and install

Remove the prop shaft by attaching an old prop or hand made tool (using prop bolts) to hold the hub while loosening the prop shaft. Then use a gear puller to pull the hub off. Or use a prop drilling...

Shipping verification for Paypal

You gurus who sell a lot of stuff and use PayPal.....for ups or FedEx it's a no brainer since they have tracking. But for USPS what is best to satisfy PayPal for shipping verification? Signature?...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

You must be the guy that I'm messaging on Youtube. How's it going? I think I rotated the carb and block. I also flipped the throttle arm so it's 180 degrees from original position.

RE: servo installation advice

If the whimpy little throttle spring pulls the throttle off its mount, it wasn't installed properly. I leave my springs as-is from mfg and I never have had this happen. It's not the root cause here....

RE: How to Setup A123 Pack with Charge & Arming Switch Capabilities?

If you go with CellPro chargers you need just one 3 pin charge jack (does power and balance in one connector). I use the Deans 3-pin charge jack. Mounts on the side of the fuse. Works great. I charge...

RE: Hitec Servo Opinions - Thanks

I use the 7985 for throttle on my gas planes. Works great. I use the 7955 instead of the 7954. Much better gear train (titanium).

RE: Best 100 - 120cc engine for 3D

I have the DA-120 with stock muffs on an Extreme Flight 110" Yak 54 and I love it. I fly tons of 3D on it. Perfect engine IMO. I've had many engines and it is reliable and a power house. I trust it...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

You can also open the pipe tunnel on the bottom of the fuse. That's what I do. Never had my Extra or Yak over heat. I like the looks of the louver on the front of the Yak.

RE: ETHANOL FREE GAS!!! WEBSITES.

You can't assume that for all of their gas stations. I think there's rules for how a station can carry non-ethanol gas. Don't remember what they are.

The Senate just voted against an Ethanol...

RE: ETHANOL FREE GAS!!! WEBSITES.

We need to vote them all out of office....eventually. All of the ones that pushed for this. It's a crock of crap.

Meanwhile we should buy our gas at these places if we can. Just make sure to...

RE: 35% radio/servo/battery setup question

I used 22 gauge on my 35% Yak. I used #16 wire for the A123 batteries going to Deans Ultra connectors to the switches.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Yes I did. Got the DA-120 combo. All I can say is OMG what an amazing plane...especially with that grunty DA-120. Amazing power.

I had to sell either my 88 Yak or 88 Extra. It wasn't an easy...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Glad you got it back into action and enjoying it Nitro. I have flown the heck out of mine. Once you get in a groove with it, amazing things will happen. I sold mine to a club friend and so far the...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

Sorry to hear about that. Not sure what happened but you shouldn't over tighten the bolts. Just snug them up with a little muscle and that's it. Can't crank on them like metal bolts. Also can't leave...

RE: 35% radio/servo/battery setup question

A 9C only has 8 proportional channels. So you'll need some help for all those servo connections (9), not including an ignition kill. Plus (2) battery connections. Also to gang the two rudder servos...

RE: Extreme Flight 88

It's fine as long as you don't pan cake the plane or have a rough landing. I have CF in my 110" yak. It came with the kit. One thing I like about CF is that the legs don't spread out like the alum.
