RE: Great planes ultimate 160

Question!

I just flew my Ultimate for the first time today after having it for a couple of months. The Brillelli 46GT ran flawlessly and I'm VERY happy with the performance of the plane.

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

Thanks for the tips, guys... I doubt the engine will have enough for serious 3D but I'm hoping it will at least hover it a little. It's running a 21X8 prop right now, but I'm probably going to invest...

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

I just picked one of these up from a Missouri friend; it's RTF except for receiver and flight battery. This is my first gasser, so I have a couple of questions...

1. What size battery pack is...

Goldberg Anniversary Cub (40)... Cowl!

Hey guys

I recently acquired a Goldberg Anniversary Edition Cub (the .40 size) at a swap meet. It's in military colors and would make a good sport scale project; problem is, the cowl is missing....

Which Foamy!

I lost my Eflite Extra 260 profile a few days ago to motor vibration, and now I'm looking for another profile foamy to replace it. I thought about the Eflite Sobre, but I don't really know anything...

RE: OS 55ax

So is the stock muffler better than running a Macs pipe? I prefer the look of the Macs but if it runs better stock, so be it... I may buy one of these for my Phoenix Sukhoi.

RE: .50 size Scale Aerobatic (and 3D) planes?

Those are some pretty planes.. The Fun Star looks like a great flying plane and I may order one just for the heck of it, but right now I'm really looking at scale planes that are 3D capable.

.50 size Scale Aerobatic (and 3D) planes?

Hey guys

I'm wanting to expand my fleet a bit; I'm getting rid of a bunch of planes I rarely fly and going to mainly scale(ish) aerobatic and 3D planes. I've looked into a LOT of aircraft, but I...

RE: Is 3D Flying Hard?

Quick recommendation...

BUY A RELIABLE ENGINE!!!

My Saito .72 died on me in a low hover, resulting in a split wing... my fault (low fuel), but make sure you have a good setup and are aware...

What's the rolling eyes for?

I'm selling off most of my glow planes to raise money for gas planes. I'm not going to buy them all at once, this would be over the next few months. I don't want to...

RE: First Gas Plane

Well, I've loved Sukhois for a long time. I'll probably get a Yak later on (I really like the design of the Aeroworks) but I'm seriously looking into the GP Sukhoi right now (after the Pitts). I'm...

First Gas Plane

Okay, first of all some background.

I started flying RC when I was about 10 years old. I'm now 23, and after 13 years of flying glow planes (with a hiatus in the middle) I'm ready to jump into...

RE: G3.5 Expansion Pack Wishlist

As far as I know, Knife Edge won't be making anything pertaining to Horizon Hobby (JR, Saito, Hangar 9, Seagull, etc) so we'll have to stick with Great Planes or Tower Hobbies aircraft, and hope that...

RE: Knife Edge Snaps

Word of warning.... practice these at a HIGH (2-3 mistake) altitude for the first few tries. Several of my planes require that you release ALL controls after the snap; if you continue holding rudder,...
