I have a few never run surestarts that I bought from Cox just before they shut down. I want to get the most rpms out of these.

How about Nelson heads and plugs?

The only scenario where a spotter should ever be mandatory is if your field is adjacent to full scale operation. (Used to belong to this club) Other than that mandatory spotters are a stupid idea...

I just threw my TT GP .07 on the bench with no muffler, 5.5x4 MA, 25% and a short non rc plug.

Got 18,400 on it. That seems to be pretty good from what I've read about these engines.
