He should be here soon but he told me he thought about a 5 foot wingspan.

I'm sure it was in the trash for a reason but might be fixable!? Or a nice plane to hang in the shop!

Ok, thanks for the help.

Found it in the trash and he said there is only some minor damage.... we'll see when he gets it here.

By FAR, the best plane I have bought and the easiest/fun to fly is the E-Flight Apprentice.
I also bought the Futaba 8FG...

Less throttle doesn't fix the problem. I have added more down thrust and it flies much better.

I would guess that to be what it was....BUT, it is no longer repairable. It completely locked up after I installed the prop and ran it for a minute or so.

I didn't change anything as far as the mount....It's a plastic mount that has the Thrust Angle built into it. I added some thin washers today to add a little more down thrust so I'll check it...

So I guess the best thing is to put a stock motor back in or deal with it!?!?

I never thought about speed or velocity increasing lift...just figured a wing had X amount of lift no matter what.

Well, on my little foam planes I do.... Not too worried about it being exact on them. This one is big, heavy and awkward so I doubt you could do a good job with your fingers

Are you saying that if I install a more powerful motor, it will make more thrust which will cause more lift?
So will decreasing/increasing the thrust angle help?

I burn't up a motor in my Cessna and threw one in that I had laying around.
I balanced the plane and it is perfect with the new motor.
My problem is the two times I've flown it, the plane will...

It originally ran on a 4s Lipo so that's not an issue.

OK, I'm a little slow so bare with me....
Since I haven't used this system I don't quite get the whole thing.

You strap the plane in and get it level by twisting the dowel, then the plumb bob...

I just finished putting my Twist 3D 60 together and I'm in the process of balancing it.
The book say's 5 7/8ths to 6 1/2" for CG. I've got my Great Planes balancer set at 6 1/4" .....Here ismy...
